Professor, Rev Blake Carrington Johnson

Blake Johnson is an Associate Outreach Minister at the Damascus Missionary Baptist Church, ministry include, therapy, social work, outreach and theraputic services. We are  located at 5261 Rainer Ave Seattle Washington, where Pastor James Broughton III is the man of God chosen to Shepperd the flock. I am a domestic violence supervisor, substance abuse supervisor at La Esperanza Health Counseling Services in Lynnwood Washington. (nationally Certified NAADAC), social worker, college professor, and I hope to complete receive my course work for my regionally accredited PhD in psychology  June 2010.

The forth Sunday of every month you are all welcome to song and praise and a short 15 minute sermon at the Union Gospel Mission, located on 4th in Washington in downtown Seattle Washington. I want to invite everyone to visit my home church as well on Sunday at 8:00 or 10:45 and for Bible study and prayer every wed at 7:oo pm or Tuesday Afternoon at 12:00 o'clock noon.

My goal is to give information about spiritual concepts of family violence, substance abuse, domestic violence and to assist families who lack understanding of how to deal with crisis using the whole person concept. My approach to accomplish this task is through preaching the Gospel of Jesus Christ, music, online dialogue, Internet radio, ustream and my own web show. I was a radio in Las Vegas Nevada for over two years in 2000-2002. I began my music career with a CD about Obama in which I took his ideas in formulated into a song with soft music and rap music and other instruments. The CD is titled The Time is Right Now. by Professor/Rev Blake Johnson and the Truths. This name comes from the perspective of telling the truth according to God and His Word.  The music is not all Gospel and has a variety of expressions to support my goals. Overall I feel that I am truly blessed and happy to serve the one and only Living God.
